The Most Venerable Sayadaws of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Council delivered the public statement about the so-called political crisis and its subsequences grounded to the country’s recent 2020 general election even while the global epidemic of Covid-19 has been severely bringing the social and financial predicaments to all people in Myanmar. On 29 January 2021, the statement urges the Government, the Military, the Political Parties and all in the country side by side to find a peaceful solution in accordance with the rules and regulations.
We, Rector, Professors and lecturers from the University of Global Peace warmly welcome that statement, urge all concerned to comply with the attitudes of the MaHaNa Sayadaws and also make the statement directing to the Government, the Military, the Political Parties and all in the country in order to be well-balanced, negotiate and lessen the political tensions towards the benefit of the Union and the people.
