Discussed Titles

  1. All Local Buddhist Universities, colleges and academies should be members of the International Association of Theravada Buddhist Universities ( IATBU).
  2. All Local Buddhist Universities, colleges and academies should be members of the Association of Myanmar Buddhist Universities, Academies and Colleges (AMBUAC).
  3. On the coming 150 years Anniversary of the 5th Sangayana, the AMBUAC Working Committee should participate by means of Research seminars or something like that.
  4. “Intensive Teacher Training” should be arranged and each of universities, colleges and academies should be corporate and affiliated.
  5. Pali Tripataka should be translated into understandable Burmese Language,
  6. Pali and Myanmar Dictionary should be translated into English Language.

 

Final Decision

  1. Venerable Dr Dhammasami will help so that local Buddhist universities, colleges and academies can be members of ITBU. Membership documentations must be sent to him.
  2. Venerable Dr Dhammasami will be responsible for the Intensive Teacher Training. He will announce the date and location in details soon.
  3. At least two representatives of AMBUAC must attend at the working committee meeting in order to be corporate.
  4. On the special occasion of 150th Anniversary of the 5th Sangayana, the committee will participate by means of the research paper on seminars and corporate with other groups accordingly.
  5. Libraries of AMBU help by letting rent books and sending book lists.
  6. For the Pitaka Myanmar Translation Project, Venerable Dr Chekinda will translate a proper Sutta as a sample and present it to the committee.

Then Venerable Dr Jotika and Venerable Dr Chekinda will be responsible for its project.

  1. Although the working committee agreed in order to translate Pali-Myanmar Dictionary into English Language, its project is impossible temporarily. Therefore its process will be continued discussing in coming meetings.
  2. Coming 5th working committee conference of AMBUAC will be held in Shan State University, Taungyi, Myamar on birthday of Venerable Dr Dhammasami.

 

Donation Program

  1. 10,000,000 kyats was donated by Venerable Dr Chekinda
  2. 10,000,000 kyats was donated by Venerable Dr Dhammasami
  3. For the State Pariyatti Sasana universities(Ygn+Mdy), Membership fees of ITBU will be donated by Venerable Dr Chekinda
  4. Wāso Robes and Offerings were donated by the close Dayakas and Dayikamas of Venerable Dr Jotika
